Discover the Meadowstone Magic: Tour, Harvest, Eat

Tuesday, August 11, 2026 from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM in Bethlehem, NH

A family-friendly morning on Meadowstone Farm with local partners to learn about how local food is grown, harvested, and supported by you!

Learn about where your food comes from, how to cook with it, and how to eat it all in one go -- although we don't think you'll need much help on that last part.

Join Littleton Food Co-op, Meadowstone Farm, and Ammonoosuc Community Health Services' Food as Medicine (ACHS FaM) for a morning of farm-to-table-to-body eating. Participants will begin their day with a tour of Meadowstone Farm, a diversified, conscientiously small farm focused on soil health and their signature "Beyond Organic" growing standards. The tour, led by a member of the Meadowstone team, will go behind-the-scenes of farm life, answer questions about farm operations, and highlight the wonders of locally grown produce. Along the way, participants will get to harvest vegetables alongside the farmers to use in their lunch. An ACHS Food as Medicine Chef will then use the harvested Meadowstone produce in a cooking demo of a seasonal healthy recipe. Everyone gets a generous sample of the recipe! All will walk away with a bag of the same vegetables harvested that day, the day's recipes, as well as a better understanding of what it takes to grow local food and how it affects our communities.

IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER: This event has a planned rain date of Thursday, August 15th from 9:30AM-12:30PM. All tickets will be honored for the rain date.

Tickets are required for all participants. No walk-up or unticketed participants will be allowed to join the experience. Eventbrite charges a nominal, non-refundable fee on top of the ticket price. Participants can request refunds up to 3 days in advance to receive ticket price minus Eventbrite fees back.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from Meadowstone Farm. The Littleton Food Co-op will not offer travel accommodations.
