Participants will learn about different greenhouse structures and covering materials, as well as the basics of heating, cooling, ventilation, automation, and environmental controls. The session will also explore common challenges and practical, cost-effective solutions, while highlighting how greenhouses can extend the growing season, improve plant health and quality, and support successful, sustainable growing in Maine.
