At Local Food Marketplace, we build software that powers farms, food hubs, and farmers markets across North America. We're hiring an Onboarding & Technical Support Specialist to be the person our customers rely on when they're getting started, and when they need help.
The role: Onboarding & Technical Support Specialist
You'd be the first point of contact for new customers as they get set up on our platform, and an ongoing resource for existing customers who need help. It's a mix of proactive onboarding work and responsive technical support, with a lot of autonomy, real impact, and a team that genuinely cares about the local food community we serve.
This might be a great fit if you:
- Have a background in customer service or technical support
- Are a clear, patient communicator who can translate software into plain language
- Care about local food systems and the people who run them
- Like improving things, not just maintaining them
Compensation & details:
- Starting at $28/hr ($58,000/year), adjustable based on experience
- PTO, paid holidays, SIMPLE retirement plan with matching, and QSEHRA health insurance stipend
- Pacific Time hours; preference for Eugene, OR or remote for the right candidate
