Join us in September!
The 2026-27 Network Café Series

The 2026-2027 Network Café Series is a space to learn about and discuss the critical issues facing our food system right now.

A guest will join us to share about their understanding of the topic at hand and lay out the implications the issue has for our individual and collective work in creating a thriving food system here in the Granite State. Following the presentation, we will ask questions, discuss, and connect over what we learned, strengthening our relationships and connections to inspire solutions through collaboration.

In that spirit of collaboration and building connections, we urge you to share our Network Café Series with your networks, colleagues, and friends. Each café is designed to be inclusive opportunities for learning and growing in our food systems work. Below are the proposed topics and registration links for each upcoming Network Café; more details will be available as each gets closer. Looking forward to another season of learning together!

From Ban to Plan: Join NH’s Fight Against Food Waste

September 11, 12-1 PM | Register here
In February 2025, NH’s Organic Waste Ban took effect, requiring that all businesses generating 1 ton or more of food waste per week divert their food waste from landfills. NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) performed an infrastructure study to better understand how to implement and enforce this legislation across New Hampshire. And the results are in!

Jennifer Mitchell, Food Waste Diversion Specialist at NHDES, will join us to break down what the ban requires, explore the results of the infrastructure study, and share next steps— including  a new grant opportunity to support waste diversion. Come learn what the findings mean for New Hampshire’s food system and join the conversation to ignite innovation in food waste diversion and food rescue efforts across our food businesses, farms, and the charitable food system.

If you care about wasted food in our food system, join us for our September Network Café!
