Part of NH Food Alliance's 2022-2023 Network Cafe Series

On March 3, the NH Food Alliance (NHFA) hosted "REAPing the Benefits of Energy Efficiency in our Food System," part of their 2022-2023 Network Cafe Series. During the cafe, Sarah Waring, the State Director for Vermont and New Hampshire at USDA Rural Development provided an overview of the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) and answered questions from cafe attendees on specific aspects of the program. Network Cafe attendees learned how New Hampshire farmers and food businesses can take better advantage of the opportunity to build energy efficiency into their businesses, reducing our food system's greenhouse gas emissions and fostering viability with lower energy costs for New Hampshire's farm and food businesses.
