The Urban School Food Alliance (USFA) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created by school food service professionals in 2012 to address the unique needs of the nation’s largest school districts. Members collaborate to share best practices, develop procurement standards, and advocate for the health and wellness of students. This year, USFA will be hosting Webinars for Local Producers, with school districts and local producer organizations of all sizes across the country. These Webinars aim to share an overview of school food procurement and introduce producers to school districts as potential revenue streams for their operations.
