Zuri Wingi: Community Volunteer and Learn Day at Tuckaway Farm

August 8 and 23 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in Lee, NH

Mark your calendars for Zuri Wingi's next Community Volunteer and Learn Days: August 8 and August 23!

Join us at Zuri Wingi at Tuckaway Farm this August for mornings of connection, learning, and cultivating abundance together.

Save the dates:

  • Saturday, August 8 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM (potluck to follow)
  • Saturday, August 23 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Community Volunteer and Learn Days combine hands-on work with opportunities to learn about food crops, fiber crops, and medicinal plants from the African Diaspora and Indigenous communities, along with several plants native to this region.

We'll explore their histories, cultural significance, how to care for them, and their uses-and we'll even share a recipe or two!

All are welcome, whether you've volunteered before or are joining us for the first time. Bring a friend and join us for a morning of connection, learning, and cultivating abundance.

If you're joining us on August 8, feel free to bring a dish to share for the potluck! I'll provide water and a few snacks for everyone.

More than 50% of the food grown at Zuri Wingi is donated to support community food access. Every Community Volunteer and Learn Day helps make that possible.
