Lawrence J. Yerdon Visitors Center & Pitt Tavern
Strawbery Banke Museum, 14 Hancock Street, Portsmouth, NH, 03801
Inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s “feasts of reason,” Strawbery Banke welcomes educators from the Thomas Jefferson Foundation, the non-profit that owns and operates Monticello, for an evening of history, conversation, and shared reflection.
The evening begins with a thought-provoking lecture in the Lawrence J. Yerdon Visitors Center led by educators from Monticello, exploring how the debates and ideals of the American Revolution continue to shape civic life today. Guests will then gather in Pitt Tavern for a buffet-style dinner by Liberty Lane Catering and a facilitated small-group conversation inspired by the Revolutionary era’s enduring questions.
Limited space. $30 per person.
