Every summer, the Sunflower Festival celebrates the breathtaking beauty of our sunflower fields at their peak. While Coppal House Farm's sunflowers are grown for culinary oil—harvested in the fall and cold-pressed from oilseed varieties—they’re absolutely stunning in bloom. Unlike ornamental sunflowers, oilseed sunflowers have a short bloom window—just about 12 days before they begin to tilt their heads and dry down for harvest. That’s why the festival is carefully timed to catch them at their best—and why there’s always a firm end date.
