Job! Seeking Vermont Artist for F2iSummit

FINE Seeks Vermont Artist 

Farm to Institution New England (FINE), is looking for an artist inspired by food system change to design a visual identity for our upcoming 2027 Northeast Farm to Institution Summit. 

You: 

• Have a connection to Vermont. Black, Indigenous, People of Color, Middle Eastern and North African, Bilingual and/or Bicultural candidates, and LGBTQ2SIA+ candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. 
• Are passionate about our regional food system! Major bonus points if you have lived experience in a New England institution, field, kitchen, or food-related organization.
• Have experience working with clients to develop commissioned art. We welcome artists in any stage of their career.
• Bonus points if you also want to facilitate an art experience (live, static, performance) at the F2iSummit on April 14-16, 2027 in Burlington, Vermont. 

Deliverables: 

• Will be beautiful, reflect the F2iSummit theme (TBD), the complexity in our food system, and look great on web and print. It will appear whole and its components also work individually.
• Your work and your story will be included in our conference materials. 
• We are open to a variety of mediums and styles so long as it can be photographed, scanned, or exported to files suitable for digital and print (vector or high-res raster). 

Timeline: FINE will start with a conversation (via Zoom) to make sure this is a good fit for everyone. Then work will begin ASAP, with final digital files delivered by late September.

Compensation: $1,500
