Campus Farmer Summit 2026
Campus farms, gardens, and other growing spaces are living classrooms that serve at the intersection of agriculture education, food justice, environmental sustainability, food access, and physical and mental wellness. A campus farm feeds the student body and broader community, enriches academic and social life, and serves as a living laboratory for building adaptability and resilience. We recognize farms and gardens as places for experiential learning, collaboration, exploration, and problem-solving. As such, they play an increasingly important role in the current and future lives of those who engage with them. We believe that it is the ability to adapt to emerging conditions and to remain resilient to rapidly changing environmental, institutional and social conditions that makes campus farms essential and unique learning spaces. The 2026 Campus Farmer Summit convenes campus farmers, students, educators, food service industry professionals, and school administrators, across K-12 and higher education institutions to strengthen the Campus Farmer Network.
