Put a Fork in It! Part II, a Food Waste Workshop with NH DES
Do you work at a solid waste facility in New Hampshire? Are you a municipal official? Are you part of an organization or on a committee that supports waste diversion from landfills? Do you want to learn about how your community or facility can manage food waste?
NHDES is hosting a FREE workshop called Put a Fork in It! Part II about how to address the need for more food waste diversion in both rural and urban communities! Instructors will recap Part I of this series to set the stage before diving into common challenges and possible solutions to getting a food waste diversion program started. We will be hosting a group of panelists consisting of municipal staff, food waste haulers, and compost facilities to talk about food waste diversion opportunities in New Hampshire.
