Recording! What You Need to Know about the USDA NRCS’s Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program

Part of NH Food Alliance's 2025-2026 Network Cafe Series

On March 6 we held our March Network Café, part of the 2025-2026 Network Café Series, and welcomed Chad Cochrane, State Agronomist for the USDA's Natural Resource Conservation Service, to break down NRCS's Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program. The program was announced in December 2025 as a farmer first, outcomes-based approach to conservation through the existing Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) and Conservation Stewardship Program (CSP). Chad shared what the Regenerative Agriculture Pilot Program means, how it works, and how farmers can access funding and support to bolster resilience on their land and in their farm businesses.
