Recording! What Gets Measured, Gets Managed: Inside the Local Food Count Project
On January 9, we held our January Network Café, part of the 2025-2026 Network Café Series to help our network learn about the about the Local Food Counts Project, a project of the New England Food System Planners Partnership. The Local Food Count project is a collaborative effort to measure how much food is sourced locally by institutions and food businesses across New England. The partnership's Executive Director, Leah Rovner, shared how New Hampshire’s institutions and food businesses can get counted in 2026 and inform better data about what food is sourced locally. The project's lead data analyst, Scott Richardson of Northbound Ventures, provided insights on how the data will be collected and analyzed and reported to improve public policies, programs, and investments into our state’s and our region’s food system.
