Recording! Maine’s Middle of the Food Supply Chain: Learning from Our Neighbors
On December 5, we held our December Network Café, part of the 2025-2026 Network Café Series to help our network learn about the crucial processing, aggregation, and distribution services that support Maine's local food system. We heard from two food processing businesses, Fork Food Lab in South Portland, and Harvest Maine in Brunswick, and about other innovative projects happening across the state. We learned about their business models and the challenges they had in getting started as inspiration to replicate similar businesses in the Granite State.
Please view the full recording of the December Network Café below. If you attended the Network Café and did not take the evaluation, please respond here.
Our next Network Café in the series will be on Friday, January 9 from 12-1PM. Join us to learn how the Local Food Counts Project will improve public policies, programs, and investments into our state’s and our region’s food system and how you can get involved. Learn more and register here
