Update! Development and Member Drive for the Androscoggin Food Co-op

"We’re excited to be on this journey to build the Androscoggin Food Co-op with you, and we appreciate all the great questions and ideas we’ve heard from the community. Your input helps us shape a co-op that truly reflects the Androscoggin Valley.

One question we hear a lot is: When will the store open?
It’s a simple question, but the answer depends on all of us. Co-ops don’t come from big companies—they’re built by passionate community members who believe in something better.

Right now, we have 350 member-owners. That’s a strong start, but we need over 1,000 to open the store. The good news? If we can build momentum and reach 600, we’ll be ready to start looking for a location. That’s a big step forward, but we have to break out of the 300s first.
