Part of NH Food Alliance's 2023-2024 Network Cafe Series

On January 5, the NH Food Alliance (NHFA) hosted "Understanding the Role of Market Channels in our Food System," part of our 2023-2024 Network Café Series. During the café, we were joined by Holly Fowler, of the North Bound Ventures, who led the research team that developed Volume 4 of A Regional Approach to Food System Resilience. The team examined the potential of market channels— grocery stores, restaurants, institutions and others— to distribute local food to New England consumers. Holly provided an overview of the volume, including what the team learned and the volume's implications for New Hampshire's food system.

Our next Network Cafe will be on Friday, February 2 from 12-1PM. We will transition away from the format of our previous cafés and move toward a focus on the NH Food and Agriculture Strategic Plan, spearheaded by the NH Food Alliance. Attendees will hear an overview of how and why the strategic plan will be developed, followed by a dynamic and interactive opportunity to provide input. Register and get more details about the entire 2023-2024 Network Café Series here
