Post from the New Hampshire Cheese Guild

Local cheese-makers are re-starting the New Hampshire Cheese Guild. They held their first meeting on Sept 19 to discuss the future direction of the Cheese Guild. Sarah Allen (Dairy State Specialist) and Wendy Johnecheck (Food Safety State Specialist) from UNH Extension joined to discuss the following topics:

  • Updating the website and contacts from the previous guild
  • Developing a communication platform
  • Efforts to support the cheese makers of New Hampshire
  • Potential online seminars and resources
