Network Groups
We catalyze collaboration to find shared interests, advance policy changes, generate knowledge, and build solutions at the community, state, and regional levels.
Much of this work happens through Action Teams: issue-specific working groups that collaborate to further the collective goals and professional interests of the NH Food Alliance and our network partners. Each team consists of NH Food Alliance network partners, food system professionals, and professionals from other sectors whose work aligns with the issues and objectives of the team.
The action teams below meet regularly, most virtually and monthly, to discuss the specific projects, events, and issues they work on together. Action Teams are always open to new members and ideas! Contact Nicole Cardwell to get involved with a team or to talk about an idea for a new team.
Agriculture Land Preservation (ALP) Support Team
Land conservation advocates working together in support of the Agricultural Land Preservation Program in partnership with the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets and Food
NH Food System Strategic Plan Action Team
A team of highly engaged network partners helping to develop content, provide input, and/or offer guidance or leadership throughout the NH Food System Strategic Planning process.
New England Food Hub & Processors Network
A network of food hubs and processors coming together to build a more connected and resilient New England food system through lesson sharing and crafting ideas for collaboration.
NH Food Hub Network
A statewide network for food hubs to expand market opportunities for local food producers and improve access to local food across the state and throughout the region.
NH Eats Local Team
Communication professionals working together to tell the stories of our food system through collaborative public relations efforts, aligning on “eat local” messaging and shared content.
Food System Funding & Policy
Coordination of quick response teams to take advantage of funding opportunities for food systems' work, as well as inform and align the NH Food Alliance Network around policy.
Climate & Food Action Team
Makes connections across organizations and initiatives to ensure that food systems are a part of climate-focused activities and climate resilience is part of food system planning, policy, and initiatives.
Racial Equity Action Team
Serving as a community of practice, this team supports learning and information sharing about how to dismantle racism in the food system starting with our communities, our workplaces, and ourselves.
NH Food Access Coalition
Managed by NH Hunger Solutions, the coalition brings together food system and public health professionals to advance and advocate for policies and programs that reduce food insecurity and promote equitable access to healthy and local food.
