Over 70 food system friends and stakeholders joined us and our other New England Feeding New England project partners during our March 8 Quarterly Update Meeting. Nic Rockler, one of the researchers working on the project, gave a preview of some of his work on the economic impact of the food system in New England. He found that there are 932,000 jobs in the New England food system and the value of this sector is $38 billion.
