NHDES Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Summer Update Sessions
Join NH Dept. of Environmental Services (NHDES) and NH Listens to learn about the work under two grants from the US EPA's Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program.
NHDES has rescheduled these events for September 10 and 11, 2025.
This will give the CPRG team more time to evaluate and model potential greenhouse gas reduction measures, review analyses and reports from subcontractors and summer fellows, assess impacts of changing federal funding streams and priorities, and continue networking with other states working on CCAPs.
The September Update Events will be a mid-program update on progress under this 4-year U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program. NHDES will share updates on:
- CPRG Implementation Grant work – the New England Heat Pump Accelerator program - $450 million dollars to ramp up heat pump adoptions in 5 New England States over 5 years. Updated information can be found on the multi-state coalition lead’s website: Connecticut Dept. of Energy & Environment 'Accelerator'.
- CPRG Planning Grant work – NHDES completed a Priority Climate Action Plan (PCAP) in March 2024 and is working on the next deliverable - the NH Comprehensive Climate Action Plan, due December 1, 2025.
