Daisy is originally from the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. Her passion for sustainable agriculture and food systems work began at her high school job with the Cornucopia Project. She found a passion for writing through arts programs and a journalism internship with the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript. After graduating from ConVal Regional High School in 2019, she joined the University of New Hampshire where she is currently an undergraduate. Daisy plans to graduate in 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and Sustainability and a minor in Social Justice Leadership.
Along with her studies, she is also a contributor and editor for Main Street Magazine, a teaching assistant, and a barista at Crackskull’s Coffee and Books. Daisy has spent the last several months interning with the NH Food Alliance as their Field Photos Project Intern. She hopes to continue combining her passions for writing and food systems to build a more accessible local food culture.
