The NH Food Alliance, New Hampshire Listens, and the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services are co-hosting a listening session to gather input from New Hampshire’s agricultural sector to be included in an update of the state’s Climate Action Plan. The input you provide will not only influence New Hampshire’s priorities for climate action, it will inform and unlock funding opportunities made available for New Hampshire farmers and food producers to kickstart and further their work in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

New Hampshire was awarded a Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to update the state’s climate action plan in service of reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses. The first phase of the plan’s update involves the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services gathering input on climate action priorities from several sectors across the state. The second phase will employ the input and priorities to unlock key funding for New Hampshire through the federal Climate Pollution Reduction Implementation Grant process.

Join in to share local and regional agricultural projects that will benefit farmers, food producers, and communities most in need, and the barriers to implementing those projects. All ideas are welcome— from workforce development, cost-sharing programs, coalitions to implement solutions, and more!
