- Electricity from batteries, grid, or hydrogen fuel cells (e.g., electric- powered school bus)
- Hybrid (e.g., conventional or plug-in hybrid electric transit bus)
- Propane (e.g., propane-powered delivery/utility truck)
- Marine Shore Power Installation
Summary:
The Granite State Clean Fleets Grant (GSFC) is a competitive reimbursement program funded by the Volkswagen Mitigation Trust (VW Trust) to offset excess nitrogen oxides (NOx) resulting from Volkswagen’s emissions violations. This program reduces NOx emissions by funding projects that scrap and replace older, dirtier diesel-powered units with newer, cleaner alternative-fuel or diesel-powered units.
