Recommendation: Make a wholesale catalog available for retail with details on distribution capability and capacity. This could be achieved by partnering with food hubs and distributors to increase their abilities to track and report out or it could be a third-party maintained database.
Current work happening on this recommendation: The NH Food Alliance, in partnership with the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food, published the Wholesale Producer Directory as a print and digital catalog of farms and food businesses across New England prepared to sell into the wholesale market.
