Recommendation: Enhance marketing and technical assistance collaboration between the NH Department of Agriculture, Markets, and Food and other state agencies, local governments, schools, businesses, nonprofits, and food producers.
Current work happening on this recommendation:
- Genuine Local is supporting this recommendation to generate higher value for New Hampshire food products in the marketplace by increasing capacity and variety of product options, thereby increasing access for more local growers and NH food businesses looking to make shelf stable products. It is anticipated that increased production capacity will be on line by spring 2026 and the expansion of product options will be on-going after that.
