Cameron Huftalen

Cameron is a project manager at Vital Communities in White River Junction, working on food and agriculture projects across the Upper Valley region of NH and VT. Their current slate of projects focuses on strengthening local food systems, connecting grassroots community action groups to one another and to resources, and supporting early childhood education programs in accessing nourishing food for their students. Prior to working with Vital Communities, Cameron worked with the Kearsarge Food Hub in Bradford, NH for several years connecting local farmers to market outlets and growing a community of folks invested in connecting to their local food system. They are particularly interested in cultivating food sovereignty and strengthening local food systems through community organizing.
