The Meat Processing Workgroup focuses on understanding and addressing ongoing concerns about meat processing infrastructure and capacity in New Hampshire. Farmers and others across New Hampshire are experiencing and/or perceiving limited access to meat processing in the state. The Meat Processing Workgroup will bring together stakeholders to better understand the current system, hear directly about challenges from farmers and processors, and identify practical opportunities to alleviate bottlenecks. This is a time limited workgroup, launching October 2026 and planning to complete its work by June 2027.
