The Great Bay Food Cooperative Workgroup exists to explore the potential for a retail food cooperative in Newmarket, New Hampshire. The workgroup will meet regularly to build regional engagement, foster collaboration, and guide the development of a feasibility study assessing the financial viability and community support for a Seacoast area food cooperative. Particular focus will be placed on understanding community needs, identifying opportunities and challenges, and advancing a shared vision for a community-owned grocery model in the only remaining region of the state without a major retail food cooperative.
