2026 Grant Opportunities Available through The 1772 Foundation

Intended applicants: To be eligible, organizations must have a 501(c)(3) IRS designation and own, or have a long-term lease, on the building.  For additional details, read the full announcement below.
Summary: The New Hampshire Preservation Alliance and The 1772 Foundation have announced that 1:1 matching grants of up to $10,000 are available for historic preservation projects.Eligible projects include: exterior painting, finishes and surface restoration; upgrades to/installation of fire detection; lightning protection and security systems; repairs to/restoration of porches, roofs and windows; structural foundation and sill repair/replacement and chimney and masonry repointing. 
Grants over the last six years have supported 91 rehabilitation and restoration projects for a variety of community landmark buildings throughout the state. The New Hampshire Preservation Alliance strengthens communities and stimulates local economies by encouraging the protection and revival of historic buildings and places.
